Fall Into Fall 2014

September 24, 2014

What’s in for fashion this season, Cristina?, people at work, my friends and my mom’s girlfriends keep on asking me. Well, here are the chicest of the chic in the fall/winter 2014/2015 collections. Fleecy shearlings, cozy knits, modern takes on the 60′s silhouettes and sheer fabrics.

My 2 personal favourites?

First, it’s the cuddling shearlings. Cuddling sums it up.

Head-to-toe wool comes second. A sweater with wooly leggings, a jumper dress and a deep V-neck or an enormous scarf, super-sized knit tunic with large knit trousers. You’re safe in earthly shades (from camel to grey and even the unexpected, yet cozy combination of these two), you can put a little show in colourful, 3D patterns within conceptual, architectural designs. Find the shape that suits you better, but don’t forget to make it maxi, knitted, comfy, fuzzy and (yay!) warm.

Burberry made the cape cool again. Now, you can have your initials on your cape. We can all be Superman and woman or Batman and woman, however. The letters on our capes are not necessary. The letters on our capes are very much enjoyed when they are, ta-da, on our capes, though, haha. It’s versatile, it’s girlie, it’s flirty and it makes waves all over the place. Literally.

I think it’s best when worn with nothing underneath.

Speaking of suits. Trousers suits… You can count on tailoring, these days. This time around, it’s not just about mens’ inspired fashion. The lines are strict, yet the fluid femininity brought by the loose cuts, the intense hues and the 80’s touch make them softer while still appropriate for a bord meeting. A cocktail bar date might be just around the corner.

It’s something sexy about a waist of a woman and the 60’s silhouette celebrates just that. And about a little bit of legs, ha! Whenever wearing all the words in the last two phrases, you can not but feel all the words in the last two phrases. Stand straight, wave your hair and have something juicy on your mind.

Prints and colours are very in. But then again, are they ever out? Just like black is. Always there. So, here!
