Some days can be tough. Wow. Believing in everything for a reason can be really tough at times, too. But, hey, we can always put our bathing suit on, let our hair down, wear comfy shoes and spin around like there’s no tomorrow.

There is magic in (inspired) action is a sentence that comes to mind whenever I feel like writing a book and can’t seem to write one sentence at once. So, first, I do any sort of cleaning in the house that had been put on hold, because hello, yoohoo, I make a good cup of coffee, think about the best sweet bite, drink the good coffee, eat the sweet thing and then, finally, I meet the screen.

If you stare at the screen long enough, you start to, actually, see its rolling eyes.

Wearing a bathing suit ~just in case~ is one of the best feelings ever. Especially when, technically, you’re not supposed to get into any kind of water due to not having made any plans regarding it whatsoever. You’re supposed to leave the island (Gili, Trawangan, Bali) for the real life, for the big continents. Luckily, the way to reality is by a boat we all have super fun and get wet on. Luckilyx2, I have my bathing suit on. I knew it!

Careful what you wish for in the dreamland, because it just might happen in the real world. We wanted to stay longer. On the island. In the dreamland. Wink. Therefore, we all get to float on water for about two more hours before stepping back onto the continent. The boat is unable to park(!!). We all wanted to delay (somehooow) the arrival back on the continent, so here we go. Just kidding, there are too many boats at the docks and there is no place for ours to park, but go figure!

The memory of the boat full of unfamiliar people from all over the world and some familiar people I’d met just days before, at night, on the ocean, somewhere on another planet, always makes me smile. Makes the butterfly in my stomach fly.

The song is beautifully constructed. Everything is. We all swayed on the swaying boat, under the clear night sky, watched the stars, talked about the universe, listened to music.

Real is rare. Let’s dream the dream and love the real, wear a bathing suit (only we know about) underneath the clothes and all, but also ~know~ that dreams don’t work unless we do.
