It’s so funny how women always muss and fuss about fashion. We get instantly excited about any possibility of any vicinity of a talk about fashion (or hair, or any – any! – beauty routine one of us could share).
Visualise this:
If you’re a gal, I am sure you are already smiling in the corner of your mouth, because you know exactly what I mean and you’re like “Fuck yeah!“. If you’re a man, pay attention the next time you’re at a table and someone (you can do it as a fun test) brings up one of the above topics. The sleepiest girl there will awaken and will, fo sho‘, say something of any of the above, it’s incredible!
Observe the twinkle in her eyes.
So, when a man asks me anything fashion related, I tend to thrill. In a way. I’m like “Hey, you!“, with a little bit of Joey’s “How you doin’?” tint.
Precisely the look I gave a very good friend of mine just a few days ago when he asked me what is in right now. “How you doin’?“. Precisely the reason for finally writing this on men’s fall 2016 trends.
It’s unbelievable how much I can enjoy clothes and how less could my brother not care for them. And I completely dig it. He just wants them super fresh and comfortable and for me to not even bring into any vicinity even of fashion subjects. So imagine my surprise when he took me shopping for him.
Personal shopping. We both felt so thrilled. Myself, for the cute moment we shared, the fact that he, for once, took my job (and passion) seriously and, most of all, because he really seemed to enjoy the joy I was – apparently – giving him. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more! Himself, for taking clothes – for the first time in a long time – for real – not only for granted and out of necessity – and have fun all along. With me, as a professional and not as his baby sister dressing up from our mom’s wardrobe while growing up.
My point is that, as men – somehow – you tend to – sometimes – consider fashion shallow and no big of a deal really and there’s nothing wrong in that. It sometimes is, but it always depends on what do you choose to see and read and believe in.
So when fashion interferes in your lives as a way to make you feel better, or better said, yourself finally, then to me – your sister, daughter, girlfriend, friend, colleague or professional – this means fireworks on the inside.
Because I know just how cool clothes can make you feel. Or, better said, express yourself, by getting to know yourself first. Therefore, give you confidence and make you want to dance the whole night through. And I am, for sure, in it, with you!
Trends or no trends, discovering what makes you happy is the shit, man!
This is for you that take us all dancing. Fall/winter 2016 trends:
Bomber jackets. Just be careful of your better half not stealing it from you, muhaha.

Checks. I am positive most of you all have it and there’s something kinda sexy about you wearing a – bit loose and chunky – checked shirt.

Mono and polychromatic sweaters that look as if the granny you adore‘d made them for you. Pair them with your super worn jeans and we will adore you more. This may sound superficial, but it is about the vibe you have when wearing such things. Or something.

Puffy (the puffiest you can get) jackets for your lovers to wear. It’s a big thing right now, both in women and menswear.

Military stuff. Always sort of in.

Fun prints if you feelin’ funny. Or not. Haha.

Athletic wear elements inserted here and there or an Adidas sweat.

Metallic and furry things for the wilder fashionistos out there. Roar.

Oh, and pink! For the wildest.
