Julia Sarr-Jamois. Jackpot!

Fashion is overrated. Some say. It could be when it’s too overthought or too serious. Btw, why so serious? Fashion should be fun, in the first place! I mean, it’s clothes, not brain surgery. Though, you’d be surprised by the chillness the surgeons have while working on your brain. Literally.

So if they can, we can. Julia Sarr-Jamois certainly can.

We’re talking about cherries, colours, stripes, flowers, boyfriend jeans, art deco skirts, fur, trainer shoes, furry shoes, heals, no heals, neon and that hair! I can actually hear the slot machine as the cherries align.

You still can loooove-love-love black.

And in the end, you could actually carry cherries on your ears.  It’s all in your mood and attitude. Ca-chiiing!

I guess I should gamble or smth.

Julia Sarr-Jamois is a fashion editor for Wonderland magazine, after being an intern at I-D magazine, after being a model (for Diesel and Fred Perry), after quitting. She needed a more creative career and developed into styling. Her love of vintage fashion stems from her mother’s stall at the Brixton market, during the 80s. She confides that most of her favourite denim is from her mother’s collection.
