Birdman. "Epic" Is The Trending Word To Describe It.

January 18, 2015
But I would say Superb!.

Slight possibility that it is with superheroes. Slighter that it’s not. Birdman. Yet again, no trailer, no reviews for me. And the rest is fireworks!
You must see the movie in theatre or if you still prefer to see it at home, please make sure your sound system is the best. Since the music is the second main character, after Michael Keaton, the Birdman himself. It goes from drums, to piano, to violin in the end. I was going to say that you are the third one. Yes, you. And you are the third one!
But then there’s the music again. You, again. It’s like you know each other. And you’re scheming. Or acting together all along. You are there, just like the rest of the main cast: Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts. And then there’s the city. New York City being a character all over again. Being the land where anything is possible (USA and its myths) to such an extent that you don’t even know anymore what’s right and what’s not. In this world. In this lifetime. But then again, who’s to say what’s right and what’s not. Who’s to put you down? And who’s to rise you up? There is only you.
A man becomes a critic when he cannot be an artist, in the same way that a man becomes an informer when he cannot be a soldier. (Gustave Flaubert)
And you are just one of the billions of men (living here for only 150.000 years), on a planet that it has been here for over billions of years.
Now I keep on writing and deleting. There is so much to say, my fingertips itch. But I won’t. For you.
PS: I just watched the trailer now. Don’t! Please don’t! Just go! Go! To the theatre or directly to your living room.
Birdman won the golden globe for lead actor in a motion picture – comedy or musical (Michael Keaton) and an Oscar for Best Motion Picture of the Year, Best Achievement in Directing (Alejandro G. Iñárritu), Best Writing, Original Screenplay (Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris , Armando Bo), Best Achievement in Cinematography
(Emmanuel Lubezki) ! There should have been more: Actor in leading role. Actor in supporting role (Edward Norton). Actress in supporting role (Emma Stone), Sound editing, Sound mixing!
This PS and this is it: Birdman has just made it to my all time favourite movies.

In your mailbox would be ideal, yet in your e-mail is pretty close, yay!
